Steve Longbrake

Silveus Insurance Group, Director of Development | Intercession Group, Board Member

Steve was born in 1951 and grew up in Alger, Ohio a small town of 900 people.

He was a teacher and administrator for 29 years at Worthington Christian Schools in Worthington, Ohio and Blackhawk Christian School in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He was an associate pastor at Blackhawk Ministries from 1983 to 2003. From 2003 to 2006 Steve was Executive Director of Race to Win Ministries serving as a consultant and executive coach for both not for profits and for profits. In 2006 he was hired by Ambassador Enterprises as an executive coach for the leaders in Ambassador’s holdings. He has been helping develop curriculum and training for leader development with an emphasis on “Investing in leaders to experience and build teams of high trust, high care, and high performance.”

His work has taken him to many countries in Europe, North America, South America and more than 25 trips to Africa where he has had opportunity to teach and train in South Africa, Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, Benin and Zambia. He has visited several other African countries to assist ministries there and identify businesses in Tanzania in which to invest.

Steve was a part of the Investment Team at Ambassador Enterprises identifying and evaluating M & A opportunities for Ambassador. He followed up with training for executive teams in the operating companies who were a part of the Ambassador team. He helped leader teams develop plans to experience Kingdom, Cultural, and Financial returns.

In November 2014, he began a new opportunity to serve at Silveus Insurance Group in a relationship building capacity. It is his role to help all agents and employees keep in mind that we exist to honor God by enriching the lives of the people we encounter while helping the American farmer manage risk. He and his wife Nanci have 4 children and three grandchildren. They are very thankful for the opportunity Silveus has afforded them to serve God with the Silveus team.
